-dont wait for someone to change the sails.. using a sailing metaphor, if u laze around while a storm brews, u may be standed at sea.. time and tide wait for no man, nor do winds of change..

-dont wait for someone else to start the ball rolling. sometimes u hafta get out of 'follower onli' mode.. y not be a leader? make ur plans.. then make ur move.. dont expect someone else to do the pioneering hard work for u..

-dont cultivate sour grapes.. nobody likes a sour puss.. which is what u will end up as if u keep sucking away at sour grapes.. dont curse others who haf more or do better.. everione has a talent, a skill, a gift, whether they are a professional or a cleaner.. let ur light shine, work hard, and keep at it.. a shining light alwaes provdies illumination..

-dont be hemmed in by the status quo.. if u can contribute to other areas.. do so.. help others if u haf the time.. people will respect u for it..

-dont assume u will alwaes get what u want.. life doesnt work that way.. in case u din alreadi know..

-dont limit urself to words.. in other words.. walk the talk.. actions speak louder than words.. if u preach something.. do it.. otherwise u juz sound like a perpetual whiner..

the above sounds like simple common sense.. it is.. but how often do we overlook it?
